Absorbing fundamentals fast

For new knowledge explain your understanding of how something works to a chatBot. Exlaining it will organize your thoughts and help you find holes in your understanding and AI’s are pretty good pointing out corrections. Also much cheaper than a tutor. The reason this is mainly good for fundamentals rather then advanced knowledge is because fundamentals tend to be widely available and well documented so chatBots have more to train on.

Personal Documentation Strategy

If you find yourself doing something that your not comfortable with because you suspect you lack expertise then start creating a reference document for yourself.

1. Write the document as if your explaining to someone else the concepts.
2. Break down high level concepts into lower level concepts and use markdown headings to specify the level of abstraction. For example, you might have headers that focus on high level concepts of email like #routing and #security then and then subheadings for lower level concepts like ##DKIM, ##SPF under the security heading and ##MX Records in the routing heading. Then even further down explain things like syntax composition of things like SPF records: ###SPF Record Composition.
3. Have AI review your document as you are writing it to ensure accuracy. Do this frequently so your assumptions are validated faster.
4. If possible have a human review your document. This is much harder, but you can force this by publishing your docs as "official" and then others will eventually point out flaws over time. Slower feedback, but still good.
